The New York Times called Khumba “a wondrous and slightly deranged story about oddballs embracing their differences.”

Sounds like the VSAFF organizing committee, but we digress. We can’t wait to share with you our first-ever animated feature.

There’s some big names — or, at least, voices — behind this tale of a young zebra who is born with only half his stripes. Liam Neeson, Steve Buscemi and Richard E. Grant — who was born in Swaziland — are among the actors who lend their voices to this colourful and entertaining family film.

VSAFF passes and gala tickets go on sale March 1 right here at vsaff.org, so mark your calendars.

We’ll have more film news throughout February, including our gala film and party details, full schedule, and ticket prices. So keep checking back this month, or follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest info.

Thanks for your continued support VSAFFers! We look forward to seeing you again, April 10-12, at SFU Woodward’s. All proceeds to Education without Borders.
