About the Goldcorp Centre
for the Arts

Simon Fraser University’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is located at 149 West Hastings Street, in the historic Woodward’s mixed-use redevelopment. The Woodward’s redevelopment comprises a full city block and is located between Abbott Street and Cambie Street, with Hastings Street to the south and Cordova Street to the north.

The Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is a 10-minute walk from Vancouver’s transportation hub, Waterfront Station, where SkyTrain, SeaBus, Canada Line and West Coast Express stations transport riders to all parts of metro Vancouver and beyond. The building can be entered from the Hastings Street entrance or from the Cordova Street courtyard of the Woodward’s redevelopment, which can be identified by the iconic red W that rotates above the Woodward’s atrium space.

Public Transit

Major public transit lines, the SeaBus, SkyTrain, and WestCoast Express terminate at Waterfront Station, located in the historic CP Rail Station on Cordova Street, opposite Simon Fraser University’s Harbour Centre campus which is a short walking distance from Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. The #16 and #14 Hastings, the #20 Victoria, and the #135 SFU buses stop directly in front of the Hastings Street entrance. Parking

There is an EasyPark parking lot located on Cordova Street across from the centre at 65 West Cordova Street.  There is also a parkade under the International Village Mall, located at 88 W. Pender Street, which is a five minute walk away from Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.
