Simon Fraser University’s Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is located in the historic Woodward’s mixed-use redevelopment. The Woodward’s redevelopment comprises a full city block and is located between Abbott Street and Cambie Street, with Hastings Street to the south and Cordova Street to the north.
The Goldcorp Centre for the Arts is a 10-minute walk from Vancouver’s transportation hub, Waterfront Station, where SkyTrain, SeaBus, Canada Line and West Coast Express stations transport riders to all parts of metro Vancouver and beyond. The building can be entered from the Hastings Street entrance or from the Cordova Street courtyard of the Woodward’s redevelopment, which can be identified by the iconic red W that rotates above the Woodward’s atrium space.
There is an EasyPark parking lot located on Cordova Street across from the centre at 65 West Cordova Street. There is also a parkade under the International Village Mall (http://www.internationalvillagemall.ca), located at 88 W. Pender, which is a five minute walk away from Goldcorp Centre for the Arts.
Major public transit lines, the SeaBus, SkyTrain, and WestCoast Express terminate at Waterfront Station, located in the historic CP Rail Station on Cordova Street, opposite Simon Fraser University’s Harbour Centre campus which is a short walking distance from Goldcorp Centre for the Arts. The 16 and 14 Hastings, the 20 Victoria, and the 135 SFU buses stop directly in front of the Hastings Street entrance. Transit schedules for all areas of the city can be found at www.translink.bc.ca.
